Long Breakaway
It's been more than 10 days since my last tweet & blogs......have been working on lately with work, friends outing and so on. I am really looking forward to visit Loei, Thailand or more specifically North Eastern Thailand. My destination is the tranquil & sleepy town of Chang Khan separated only by a river from Laos. I'll be spending a few days here before embarking on my 2nd backpacking trip this year once again to Laos....but this time is Phongsaly!! The northern most of Laos bordering China & Vietnam. A town full of different tribe but main group being the Mengla which origin from China! Hopefully weather is good and I can take some nice photos to be share with the readers here! Mean time tune in for my last chapter of TransIndochina.....The city of Luang Prabang.....and my first ever flight with Laos Airlines on the all new ATR 72-500 Turboprop plane!! Cheers...!!!

It's been some time since my last post on my backpacking or shall I say flashpacking trip in Indochina earlier this year. Anyway the Holiday weekend is near the corner and I think I'll make good use of this coming weekend to blog about my Indochina trip. Anyway.......I am embarking on my next backpacking trip to Phongsaly, Northern Laos next month. Hopefully no unforeseen circumstances that will stop me from this coming trip....I always wanted to see Laos....I did it earlier this year but this time I am going to concentrate on one place only! My main agenda is to snap as many photos as possible.....well beautiful one of course!!! Till my next blog......have a nice day!

What do I learn throughout my TransIndochina trip??
It's been more than a week since I've came back from my maiden backpacking trip to Indochina. It's been a roller coasting journey with thousands of kilometers covered by bus or plane and not to forget lots of walking in between! What do I learned from this trip? 5 words: satisfy, grateful, happy, appreciate & thankful. The next time before I'll complain about anything, I'll think like.......this is life.....nothing is perfect!!! I hope I'll get all the info ready by this weekend...and full report on our Trans-Indochina 2010 will be ready by next week......all the way from day 1 till day 12......non censored......real experience & not to forget dozens of photos for viewing!
In my mind now.......Trans Siberia 2011.....will it ever become a reality???

What do you need when traveling alone? My top 5 MUST have!
What do you need when you are traveling alone? Well my experience told me what I must bring! First of all you need a good backpack....as you gonna carry it so often! My recommendations are popular brand such as deuter, karinor, lowe alpine and so on. Secondly you need a pair of good sneaker....well I always walk with my converse all star! Thirdly you need a substantial amount of cash preferably in US Dollar as it is widely acceptable worldwide! Next you need your credit card for emergency usage just in case you are running out of cash! Remember to have a mobile phone with international roaming service so you can inform your family members where exactly you are! or I used my netbook to communicate regularly with family members and friends.
MY TOP 5 gadget I MUST HAVE!
1) my Lowe alpine 55 +10 liters backpack
2) my pair of converse all star
3) my lenovo S-10 netbook
4) mySony Ericsson mobile phone
5) my Nikon D-60 dslr camera and accessories packed inside my lowepro fastpack 250
Remarks:- most importantly I must have enough cash with me whenever I am traveling alone anywhere in this world!

Hokkien mee craze!!
I had enough of hokkien mee! This morning was the fourth day in a row that I've ate hokkien mee! Why? That's all because of one fella! This fella was so obsessed with it which eventually turned me into it's victim! This friend of mine who just came back from Australia is a hokkien mee freak! In a span of four days...I've been to Jln Alor, Petaling Street & kepong for hokkien mee......It taste good but after 4 days of hokkien mee....I guess I'll stop eating it for months now! I guess he'll buzz me tonight for another session of hokkien mee! Oh My God......I have hokkien mee phobia now! Help me please someone....!!
Updated on 30/11/2009......My friend indeed called me last Friday for hokkien mee....LOL..but i rejected not because I don't like but I am just too tired and badly need a good sleep! Guess tonight would be the fifth hokkien mee session! I shall wait and see.

Why I like to "yam cha" so much?
It is a Malaysian culture of "mamak stall revolution"!!
What do guys talk when they gather together during the "yam cha" session? Most of us will say....well guys talk about cars, gadgets, hobbies, politics, sports and so on..! However one of the most talked topic must be "gals".....I hope most of the readers will agreed with me!
Most of the time when we see a gal during a mamak session....we will start talking about it non stop until we see another one......what we talk about gal? how beautiful she is, how cute she is, how good is her body and some might even start to fantasy to have a sex session with her. I hope I am not making a negative remarks here......but that's how's the "yam cha" session is all about! we basically talk about everything....from a-z!
Well that is nothing right or wrong to talk until the wee hours in the morning....as we gather together to release our work stress, life pressure and emotional sickness!! after each session we felt better and ready for the next big day of life. all the laughter's,jokes, opinions, suggestion etc. etc. we shared during the "yam cha" session really helps emotionally! Some might disagreed with me..but...that's the cheapest way to release your stress!
We live in a fast & furious life where we faced so many obstacles everyday....to spend some time with your friends for a "yam cha" session is one of many ways you can sit down and relax yourself. It's now a Malaysian culture where "mamak stall" is a part of our life!
Remarks: "yam cha" is a Cantonese saying of drink tea.Every night thousand of Malaysian are flocking their local mamak stall for a session of teh tarik, maggi goreng, roti telur, teh 'o' ais limau and gathering. It might be positive or negative thing to do...it all depends on you and your gang of friends! like it or not...its a part of our life!
