"Bordeaux Of Thailand " I am dying to be here !!!

I am looking forward to my first winery visit next Feb 2010 when I endure my first North Eastern Thailand backpacking trip! I've booked my accommodation in PB Valley estate which Khao Yai winery is located. Khao Yai winery produced one of the best PB reserve Shiraz in Thailand and as a fan of Shiraz, I must try it at least once! I'll also visit another winery by the name of Grandmonte in the Asoke Valley which also produced some of the best Syrah & Chenin Blanc wine in Thailand.

The vast land & Vineyard of Khao Yai also dubbed as the Bordeaux of Thailand. Both the winery is a leisure & scenic 1 hour drive from the city of Nakhon Ratchashima or popularly know as Korat! A gateway to the scenic & beautiful plateau of Issan! Below are some of the photos how both the famous winery look like:-

Remarks:- I'll be staying put in PB Valley estate Aeungnokkhamin room for 2,200 bath per night inclusive of breakfast. Winery tour is 800 bath per pax for the Khao Yai winery inclusive of a western set lunch. I am all set for this experience of a life time in the Bordeaux of Thailand!
